Have the Browns finally found their break in a revamped, young and talented roster?

Farewell Lebron, hello Baker. The city of Cleveland has had it rough when it comes to sports, especially for loyal members of Cleveland's dawg-pound. Cleveland has had enough losses and last minute blunders to last a lifetime and through thick and thin, the Cleveland fan base has remained strong; surviving through a 0-16 season, a million and one QB changes and countless sub .500 seasons. Recently, ]however, a new sheriff in town has changed the culture of the land Lebron once ruled. Standing at barely six feet tall, the Oklahoma-product makes up for his lack of imposing height with his play-making ability, leadership, and moxy; leading the Browns to a 5-1 record in the past 6 weeks. Can the Browns keep up, or better yet, improve on their surprising reform? And how far can the young gun-slinger will his team in 2019?
After taking over full-time in week 4, Mayfield immediately made a splash against the Raiders as he filled in for the injured Tyrod Taylor. Although narrowly missing the win, Mayfield showed he has the mental resilience to overcome early failure, a trait that is rare among rookies. For the next 4 weeks, the Browns seemed to have returned to their old selves again, losing in heart-wrenching fashion time after time until, that one fateful week when the Hue Jackson was fired. Following his departure, not unlike a young Luke Skywalker, Mayfield rallied his loyal companions to overcome the odds, going on to win 5 of the next 7 games.

Mayfield shows all the traits of a well-seasoned QB: he can hang in the pocket and escape if he needs to, he's confident with his throws, and he can deliver a pretty mean deep ball. He's clearly way ahead of his years, and to be completely honest, not what I expected at all during the off-season (I was thinking Johnny Manziel 2.o when his name was called on draft day). One player he reminds me of is Russel Wilson, who share the same physical and leadership traits. If Baker can emulate the career of Wilson, it will be a win for the Browns organization.
The Browns' recent success has not only been on the offensive side of the ball as their young defense has been snuffing out some of the most efficient offenses in the league. Lead by young talent in the trenches and in the secondary, the Browns have found an unprecedented rhythm, stopping the offenses of the Falcons, Broncos, and Panthers. Complimenting their dangerous attack, Cleveland's defense is become increasingly dangerous week by week.

It's clear the Browns are headed in the right direction and are definitely poised for greater years ahead. Who knows how far they would have gone this year had they gotten rid of the 'ol ball and chain (Hue Jackson) earlier. For Cleveland, it seems the stars have finally aligned and they are finally under adequate management, have a franchise QB, and possess a threatening defense. Barring any unexpected incidents, it's my confident belief that Baker Mayfield will definitely lead the Browns to the playoffs as a wild-card team in 2019, and will absolutely do damage in the league for years to come.
