Jadeveon Clowney
Potential Landing Spots: Texans, Dolphins
To describe Jadaveon Clowney as "athletic" is an abhorrent understatement The Texans' first overall pick in 2014 was written off as a bust after compiling a lengthy list of injuries in his first two seasons but has since proved critics wrong with stellar performances in 2017 and 2018. Houston looks to bolster their formidable front, securing the most efficient edge defender combo in the NFL. The combination of Watt and Clowneytrailblazed the Texans' alarming success against the run (contributing to their 82 rush yards allowed per game). Seeing his enormous impact on the field, it's no wonder the Texans want to keep the man. Upon disagreement, Clowney's next home would likely be Miami, who'd be more than willing to pick up the Southern Carolina phenom. The Dolphins, currently undergoing an aggressive rebuilding phase, would make huge bounds in their hunt for a young, smash-mouth defensive corp with the addition of Clowney. Wherever he may land, Clowney's future looks bright (defensive MVP maybe?).

Demarcus Lawrence
Potential Landing Spots: Cowboys, Colts
If the NFL were the Simpsons, Demarcus Lawrence would be Nelson (making Roger Goodell Mr. Burns). Lawrence is an absolute bully on the field, wrecking game plans and the hearts of opposing fans. Lawrence's 10.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss and 64 combines tackles contributed to the phenomenal defense brewing in AT&T Stadium. Not only is he a significant aspect of their success, Lawrence's audacious personality fuels the passionate fire of the Cowboys, posing as their emotional leader. Examining both his leadership and impact on the game, the Cowboys will be sure to keep him in Dallas (expect a hefty, multi-year contract). If Dallas is not able to deliver a worthy contract, Indianapolis (and their $107 million cap space) is expected to be his home. Lawrence's move to the Colts would be a mutualistic benefit, wherein Lawrence would get an obscene amount of money and the Colts would gain yet another superstar player. Wherever he may go, Lawrence is sure to continue his dominance and passion for the game.

Earl Thomas
Potential Landing Spots: Cowboys, Packers
Coming off a gruesome Achilles injury, Thomas will lose some of the speed and savvy he was once renowned for; causing Seattle, currently in the midst of a defensive overhaul, to thrift away the 29-year-old DB (a notion he's more than willing to accept, as this picture pretty much sums up Thomas' feelings toward the Seahawks' organization). In the past, Thomas has vocalized his desire to play in Dallas, even asking the Cowboys organization to pick him up when Seattle "kicks him to the curb". Dallas would benefit from Thomas' veteran presence in the young secondary, providing leadership that could elevate the already gifted defense. He would finally get the big time contract a player of his caliber deserves, along with the opportunity to play for a team with promising years ahead. Despite inclination from both Cowboy fans and Thomas, the Dallas front office may not have the amount of money Thomas des or may seek to bring in a younger, healthier option at free safety (like Landon Collins or Tyrann Mathieu). In such a case, his next likeliest destination would be Green Bay, uniting him with a corp of young potential in the Packers' secondary. Thomas' leadership, combined with the prowess of Josh Jackson and Jaire Alexander, could very well become the most lethal secondary in the NFL.

CJ Mosley
Potential Landing Spots: Ravens, Titans
As the successor to Ray Lewis, CJ Mosley has exceeded the Ravens' wildest expectations when they drafted him 17th overall. Both a ferocious gap stuffer and airtight coverage guy, Mosley is the heart and soul of the Ravens' exceptional defense, a notion the Ravens will take into consideration when negotiating the 4x Pro Bowler's contract extension. Baltimore has made it a priority to maintain their defensive corp as many of their starters are on the final years of their contract obligations. Expressing his love for Baltimore and prowess as a team player, Mosley is willing to accept a frugal, yet fair, contract for his work, making Baltimore the likely destination for the rest of his career. However, if they don't come to terms, Mosley will likely be scooped up by the Titans, reuniting him with former defensive coordinator Dean Pees. The Titans, in dire need of a sideline to sideline backer to man the middle, would gain from Mosley's physical prowess and abilities as a captain.

Dee Ford
Potential Landing Spots: Chiefs, Jets
Emerging as one of the league's premier pass rushers, Dee Ford seems to always be in the backfield at the right time (except when he's 5 yards offsides). Ford makes up for his lack of height through sheer athleticism, displaying aggressive hand combos and unfair get off speed, embarrassing even the best of offensive lineman. The Chiefs, only one defense away from establishing a bonafide dynasty, will look to retain the 27-year-old OLB, building on the minuscule number of worthy defensive players. In case Ford demands more guap, New York would be his best bet, wherein he would join an "under the radar team" that has some potential talent brewing. Don't let the Jets' recent woes fool you, they haven't reached their full potential just yet. Whichever path he chooses, Ford will continue to grow as a player, growing into the role of the lethal pass rusher.

Tyrann Mathieu
Potential Landing Spots: Texans, Panthers
For most of his life, the Honey Badger has always been underestimated and underappreciated. Whether it was at LSU, the during his time in Arizona, or now in Houston, fans have failed to recognize his real value (despite his stats and leadership showing otherwise). If the Texans wish to lock down a fearless leader, veteran presence and ferocious defender, they've gotta pay this man his dues. Houston has several stars on their final years of obligation, and would most likely have to do some financial finessing or let go of a few players. In case Houston gives him the boot, Carolina would accept Mathieu with open arms. Hungry for skill and experience in the secondary to pair with Donte Jackson, the Panthers would be more than willing to dish out a gigantic paycheck to obtain him. Whatever the future holds, expect this guy to ball out and cash checks.
